ISOBIKE®

The ISOBIKE® is a modern diagnostic and interventional device that is used in both rehabilitation and in sports training, enabling the quantification—exact determination— of lateral strength deficit in the lower limbs and helping to correct the deficit. A lateral strength deficit is a difference in muscle strength and performance between the left and right leg. It can be the result of unilateral stress, i.e. the dominance of one lower limb or muscle group, or the result of an injury or illness. When the strength imbalance between the left and right leg exceeds 10 %, the correct functioning of the entire movement apparatus is put at risk. This imbalance can lead to:

  • reduced effectivity of movement and worsened athletic performance
  • significantly greater risk of injury
  • reduced rehabilitation outcomes, slower improvement, and worse overall rehabilitation outcome
